Hey, Im Orlando E. Lin Andersson and Im 19 years old. Im a semi-professional photographer. I enjoy shooting landscapes in color or black & white, wildlife photos and sometimes documentary photos of different events. I got interested in nature photography in the early 2006 and I started using a 35mm film Minolta SLR camera with a Minolta 35-70mm f3.5-5.6 mounted on. And in the middle of the year 2007 I bought my first D-SLR Canon EOS 400D with the kit lens: 18-55mm. And Later on I got my first Tele lens: the Sigma AF 70 - 300 DG and started photographing Wildlife with it. Im aiming for a photographic education for commercials. And Im planning to study somewhere in the UK, photography HND/HNC.

This month there has been a bunch of tests in school. And last saturday I was in a photo show in stockholm. I tested a bunch of Canon lenses, the coolest lenses Ive tried out so far was: Sigma 200 - 500mm 2.8 EX, Canon TS-E 24mm 3.5L Tilt & Shift. And the most amazing lens ever was the Canon MP-E 65mm 2.8 Macro 5:1 (u can photograph the textures of a mousepad and pixels from a screen, now thats impressive!. I also tried a Hasselblad H3DII-50 with 28mm 2.8 and 210mm f4 attached to it, the photos from a 50MPix Hasselblad was amazing!

I also tested 2 new Canon cameras: Canon EOS 7D and Canon EOS 1D Mark IV... The 1D Mark IV is really nice and feels nicer for me, so Im deciding to buy the 1D Mark IV in the summer 2010, in Taiwan of course!

And next week Im attending Dreamhack, the world's largest digital festival! Its my 13th time!

Before I go there I'll go get a flu shot against H1N1 virus tomorrow.
